CLOTHING

MICA JANIV

TALK  12.30  –  FASHION’S HIDDEN PRICE TAG

It all started in fashion. Mica began her career in the industry and watched, close up, as fast fashion took hold and the damage mounted. It was the moment that changed everything for her, and she’s been campaigning for change ever since. Today, she’s a passionate sustainable fashion activist, going into schools, hosting events like clothes swaps, and raising awareness in her community in East Sussex.

Mica holds a certification in Circular Economy & Sustainability from Cambridge Judge Business School and is a regular guest lecturer at Sussex University Business School. But at the heart of everything she does is a simple belief: we all have a part to play. And the time to start playing it is now.

Ready to play Flight of the Nightingales? 🎶
Join us at the Barcombe Eco Fair and take on the ultimate migration challenge!

Barcombe is one of the very best places in Sussex (maybe even the whole UK 👀) to hear the legendary Nightingale—but before they can sing, they’ve got a seriously epic journey to survive. Each spring, these tiny winged rockstars fly all the way from Africa back to Barcombe to reclaim their night-time stage.

In this gloriously daft game, you become the Nightingale. Dodge hazards, escape dangers, flap your way across continents, and if your luck (and skills!) hold… you’ll land safely in a Barcombe bush and burst into a triumphant victory song 🌿🎵

Can you make it home? Come and find out!
